Delay of pictures while changing channels

A Cox representative was at my house to hook up a new WIFI.  We asked him to check our new flat screen television......he worked his majic and left.  The television works fine but every time I change channels from station to station it blacks out for about 4 secends from staton to station........I hope this is an easy fix before I call to have another tech. to come out..........

    I hate to tell you this, but that is normal for digital TVs and cable boxes.  They don't change instantly like in the old analog TV days.
