What channel will Dancing With The Stars be on in Northern VA on Monday 9/12 for the premiere? ABC is showing a football game and I'm unable to locate it on another channel

Are you talking about WJLA? They are the only ABC affiliate I can find listing the football game, not DWTS. The game is scheduled for ESPN, not ABC. I would give WJLA a call and ask what's going on, football is listed on their site too, not just Cox's guild.

Allen is correct. Our on-screen Guide and the cox.com TV Listings are both wrong. DWTS premiers at 8pm on Monday, September 12th, on ABC. ESPN is airing the NFL game that night (Pittsburgh Steelers at Washington Redskins). I've submitted a request to get this fixed in the Guide and online. Thanks for bringing this to our attention!
I just saw that the Los Angeles ABC affiliate, KABC, is simulcasting the ESPN feed for their local NFL game (Rams vs 49ers) and moving DWTS. So perhaps the DC ABC affiliate is doing this also.
KABC in LA is broadcasting the live East coast feed of DWTS @ 5pm PDT 9/12/16, before the game, instead of the normally delayed Pacific feed.
When this happens in Phoenix, they usually move the normal Primetime show to another station owned by the same broadcasting corporation.

We're checking to see if ABC in Northern Virginia is simulcasting the NFL game and perhaps moving DWTS to another day/time. I'll update this thread as soon as I have more information.
This is idiotic. According to the screen scroll across the top of ABC,
DTWS has been preempted by the Redskins and "will be shown at 9-11 a.m. on Tuesday morning!"
