COX TELEPHONE LINE

WE HAVE COX WIFI AND HAVE ADDED AN ENERGENCY CALL UNIT. ALTHO OUR COX WIFI HAS PHONE HOOKUPS FOR TWO UNITS ON THE BACK OF OUR WIFI, WHEN THE EMERGENCY CALL UNIT IS PLUGGED INTO ONE OF THE LINES, THE ONTHER LINE IS DEAD. IN OTHER WORDS, HOW CAN WE HAVE OUR COX LAND LINE INUSE/AVAIL., WHILE ALSO HAVING OUR EMERGENCY CALL UNIT PLUGGED INTO THE BACK OF THE COX WIFI?? RALPH

    This is the problem with WIFI and VIOP phone.... a traditional copper line would have no issues, yet COX is getting rid of them.
