    Greg53,

What type of connections does the modulator have? To what type of TV are you connecting?

Perhaps he meant "real forum moderator."  <-- My mistake.  I overlooked a separate RF Modulator because most analog devices already modulate, hence their Channel 3/4 switch.

You'd have to purchase an HDMI converter (aka HDMI-to-RCA, HDMI-to-Component, etc), which should also include the audio cables.  You'd then connect the HDMI portion of the converter to the HDMI port on the Mini Box and the 5 component plugs to your TV.

Of course, after your TV finally breaks, the converter would become useless.  If you have an A/V receiver with HDMI and component connections, that would do the conversions for you.

If his TV is analog, it's not going to have the 5 color connections. Once I know all the equipment involved, I can pull pictures and diagrams of the devices online to know exactly what you have and give step by step instructions on how everything should be connected. Please let me know the manufacture and model of the modulator and TV you are using.

    Red + Green + Blue + Left Audio + Right Audio = 5.

Analog tv's have yellow, red, and white. The function of the mini box is to convert the digital to analog and therefore a modulator isn't necessary unless the original poster has a special setup.

A yellow connector is a Composite video signal.  The red and white are audio.

As soon as home theater systems started becoming popular, TV manufacturers started adding Component video connections for a better picture...so, along with the red and white audio...there would be a total of, if using RCA connectors, 5 RCA plugs.  There are analog sets with a "shared" composite.and component connection, and that would be 3 plugs...but why limit yourself with Composite.

The OP can connect via a coax cable...an HDMI-to-Component converter...or an A/V receiver.
