COX lies on service appointments?

Is it just me, or does everyone get a service appointment say ... between two hours (8-10) and than are just IGNORED until you call them and find out they are so inept that they can't have the decency to call and say they will be another 2 or so hours late? If this happens to me, I'm guessing it happens to most people. Time to start looking at competitors.

    It isn't just you, but it isn't everybody. I technician can be late for many reasons, including being held up by a hard to fix problem. What was the reason for being late and did you ask for a On-time guarantee credit? (If available in your area).

    They could have the decency to call and say they will be hours late. And this is EXACTLY where I want this complaint. Where other people can see it. Talking to them just had them yelling at me for their ineptness.

    Why? Do you think anyone here will care? It's not like people can post here before they buy service. Also... did this just happen once?

    We have an On-Time guarantee in place, in the event our techs arrive late for their appointments. Were you credited for the tech not showing up on time? We apologize for any inconveniences caused.

    Second appointment today IGNORED. 8 to 10 promise was not only ignored, but not confirmed beforehand, nor have I received a call explaining their ineptness and rudeness. I WILL be calling all their competitors today. DirectTV and FIOS. I'm sure one of them would love to have my business for the next decade.
