Cox fraud

Cox claimed their charge to my Bank/America card was refused.  B/A denied any charge from Cox was made.  I was sent a very serious letter saying I owed two months plus $25 reject fee - total $517.  After numerous phone contacts, I decided to end my permission for them to bill B/A, and sent them a check - minus the $25.  They cashed the check four days before they AGAIN billed B/A from whom they received $517.  Nowhere in that letter did it say they were going to AGAIN bill B/A - they just stated I needed to pay the bill immediately.  Now they have $1000 of mine and.....instead of sending me the overpayment, they give me a credit.  Excuse me.  Perhaps paying 4X the bill is no big deal to some, but to me?  It's my mortgage.  The latest Cox bill stated I have a credit.  I called and said I want my money.  Well, it's going to have to be mulled over by Cox and they'll let me know their decision.  DO NOT AUTHORIZE COX TO BILL YOUR CREDIT CARD COMPANY.  I'm a social worker.  I immediately became pro-active and have contacted 41 Cox customers who are joining me in getting legal help.   I am weary of companies bullying consumers.
