Cox Customer Safety [abuse@cox.net]

Does Cox send emails to customers like this?? See below...I'd like to be sure before clicking on any links supplied. It came from the address in the subject line.

"Dear Subscriber,

Cox has identified that one or more of the computers in your home may be infected with the Alureon / TDSS Virus.

    It does look like we've been sending these since about October of last year. It appears something is using your Internet connection to communicate to a botnet command and control server. Doing a thorough malware scan on all of your devices and changing your wifi security is highly recommended.
