cox contour security message

I installed cox contour on an Android TV from Google Play.

I login. I access the guide. I pick a show. I select watch.

The app says due to security protocols i can only watch the video on my mobile device.

Why am I getting this bogus message?

    At this time the Contour app isn't licensed for casting to TVs. A Contour set top box would be your best option for TV viewing.
