How do I update my cox residential site?
I have never updated it in all the years I have had it.

Update what? If you are seeing come kind of popup asking you to "Update your account" DON'T do it. It's a trick to get your account info. Only give your account info to a Cox employee over the phone or using a legitimate Cox website you know is safe(Cox.net,Cox.com, etc)
