Contour receiver - PIP

I have tried the PIP selection on the remote nothing happens so I assume this feature finished when I upgraded to the Contour model. I have one slave box.  However =it has popped up  on a couple of occasions requiring hard reboot of the receiver to get it to go away.

Phone tech's cannot answer the question.  Mine is simple - Why doesn't the Contour system have a working PIP?  This feature has been around for years and since it does pop in (for whatever reason) tells me the box has the capability but is at issue because of the remote Cox uses.  Could that be true?!?

    Do you have Contour or the New Contour (Contour 2)? If you're not sure, what model receiver do you have?

    I have a contour model Record 6  Cisco GSH9865 with slave GSH4742.

    The PIP feature is not active on the current Contour system. I can submit a feature request to possibly add it in a future update. Please email me at cox.help@cox.com with a link to this thread and the account details.

    I would suspect a request for this feature has been made by many subscribers.  If not please do put one in immediately but I would suggest this feature would be easy to get working since it pops up on occasion.
