contour Flex No Dolby Digital 5.1 support, No XBOX One, 360, Playstation or Windows 10 apps either.

Where is the Dolby Digital Surround Support? HD Video is one thing but no digital Audio surround? I have tried on 3 PC's running Windows 10 Pro, Edge, Chrome, IE 11, etc... All systems hooked up to Dolby Digital Receiver with HDMI and Optical with all the same results of Stereo PCM only. Audio settings on Speaker out is set to 5.1 output and speaker test indicate surround working properly on all channels. Netflix on all system runs perfect 5.1 Surround as well. So this should not be a PC Windows 10 issue but would seem to be a streaming app issues from what I can tell.  Seems that flash is still a requirement as well no matter which browser granted Flash was suppose to be no longer developed under or supported by now but it would seem development is still using a 17 plus years old tech plagued with security issues as well. I just got this service to replace my DirectTV and so far very disappointed in it when it comes to Digital surround support. So is this by design? or is it coming soon? Keep in mind advertising HD is misleading as HD video also includes HD surround sound which is being suppressed from what I can tell at this point. Where's the Apps for Xbox and PlayStation or even Windows 10 Apps?

Just confirmed from tech support (who had no clue initially and had to apparently get help from higher up) that All Contour Streaming Flex Channels are PCM stereo only regardless of HD video channels or direct video on demand HD content even from HD HBO channels. All audio is degraded due to lack of support on watchtv.cox.com for higher quality audio streaming and there is NO indication on Cox Flex info site that this is Stereo PCM only streaming. There is NO info on whether there will be support for higher quality 5.1 or DD Plus in the future either. So having high quality Audio Surround systems or even high quality audio sound cards will do you NO good at this point so the movie experience is dumbed down again by Billion dollar corporations  proving that these cable companies continue to give us low quality and outdated technology. Such a shame that even the cheapest $200.00 Windows 10 laptop has 5.1 / 7.1 audio support and has been around for 15 years plus yet these companies refuse to support it. Would not surprise me though that developing their site using flash may have something to do with it as well again cheeping out with old tech. Seems that Cox still has ALOT of catching up to DirecTV, Dish, ATT Uverse, Netflix, etc. This is another major disappointment again to add to the data reduction from 2tb to 1tb a month on Ultimate Plans (no gig option available in my area) , removal of cloud storage, and yet prices stay the same or go up by taking away and charging more to bring it back. Its no wonder why ATT Uverse Cox client switch overs have gone up 140%. Cant wait for ATT Uverse to get here next year with Fiber so I can have better HD Video and Audio quality, better speed 1g up and down, and no data caps unlimited and all for a cheaper price than what I'm paying now for 300/30 with Flex. Cox is apparently on a record streak to beat Comcast as the worst rated cable service and internet provider and it shows by adopting the same practices Comcast and Time Warner did to upset and chase away its loyal customer base. I digress...
