Contour Flex and widows update

I am new to Cox and the Contour Flex was working fine on my computer.  Then I had a windows update and now it will not play any channel.  It just gives the three dots endlessly.  Anyone else have this problem?  Any suggestions how I can get my TV back on my computer?

    Perhaps the Windows update changed a software requirement.  Check the following:

     - Adobe Flash Player 15.0.0.152 or greater
     - JavaScript enabled
     - Cookies enabled
     - Update or adjust any add-ons to your browser, such as ad or popup blockers

    ...or,maybe, the Cox server is down.
