Contour box "Something's not quite right"

DUH.  Contour quit working ... error message RDK-03004.  Reset box multiple times, no results.  No outages reported in neighborhood.  This following three (3) separate service visits.to get my phone modem correctly installed and integrated with alarm system.  I called the help number and he said a technician can't come until Wednesday.  This is unacceptable.  21 year Cox customer and I am ready to call it quits.

    We are having this same problem, we get the error message RDK-03004, reset box multiple times, have had a tech come out twice now, our box will work for about a week after the tech comes out and then the error starts occurring again, replaced contour box, nothing has worked, were you able to get a resolution for this problem?  We have been with cox 25 years and we might have to look into switching to Direct TV which I hate to do but this is frustrating
