Contour 2 OnDemand Not Outputting Dolby Digital/Surround

Contour 2 live TV outputs Dolby Digital surround 5.1 flawlessly. OnDemand does not. I see this is an issue but have not seen a resolution.

    Please confirm the folder and title that didn't play in DD.

    Every OnDemand Movie and TV show I've selected does not broadcast in Dolby Surround.

    What type of cable do you have going from the receiver to the TV? Is it going straight to the TV or are your using a sound bar or surround system? What is indicating to you that the Dolby Digital isn't working? Are you not getting any sound or do you have a label on the screen?

    HDMI from DVR to the TV.

    Digital Optical from DVR to surround receiver.

    All live TV and recorded TV put out audio in DD 5.1.

    All OnDemand does not.

    The receiver lets me know when I have true DD 5.1 with a glowing blue light and diplay says Dolby Digital 3/2.1

    Hi Becky, I am having the same issue as are many others.  Is there a fix coming?  I have the same problem with Dolby Digital not outputting for any on demand title. I know it is not a connection or issue with my sound equipment or anyone else's given that I have three different receivers that aren't receiving a surround sound signal from Cox's on demand content.

    My receiver is a Sony STR-DE998. It worked perfectly with the Cox DVR I had before Contour2. It played live and OnDemand content in Dolby Digital with no issues.

    TV is a Bravia KDL-46V5100
