Contour 2 Mini Box Voice Remote

Just noticed the voice remote on my Contour 2 mini box does not work. When I speak, the blue LED light comes on but I receive a "press and hold to try again" indication. I release the voice button at which time the LED turns red. All other functions work properly. Have not changed any settings on TV/box/remote. Main box works fine. Any suggestions?

    First, try unplugging the power cord of the cable box for 10 seconds and see if that helps.

    As many years as we've had Cox, I should have tried this first: always unplug then replug. Voice remote now works fine!! Would have thought more problems would have shown up but just the voice remote. Thanks for the help!!
