Contour 2 Arris 6 Channel DVR & Logitech Harmony Hub

I have the two devices listed in the title.  I use the Harmony Hub to manage the viewing with Amazon Echo voice control in conjunction with Yonomi software.  With the original Contour Cisco DVR, the system worked fine and I could program basic commands for voice control of the TV like "Alexa, turn on TV time" for cable or "Alexa, turn on watch Netflix" to access the smart tv feature. Also the Logitech software puts the remote on mobile devices like phones and tablets.

Has anyone found the correct DVR box for the Contour 2 Arris box that the Logitech Hub will recognize? I can't find one that will provide the "Contour" button.

  • I have the same setup. I tried using Logitech's entry for Xfinity model X1 which uses the same hardware.
This works perfectly, but there is no Contour button on the Harmony remote so I mapped the Xfinity function to the unused DVR button  on the Harmony remote. This all works as expected. Don't have an Alexa...

Hi Josh, you can always stop by one of our solutions stores at your convenience and they can get you setup.  If you go with the lease option and it doesn't work out just return it and we'll take it off your account. -Chris

I apologize for the reply above. This was an error on our part and not intended as an answer for your previous message.

What is the model number of the Arris Contour Receiver and is there an update available for the Logitech Harmony software currently in use?
