Contour 2 App

My Contour2 App all of a sudden stopped working on all of our tablets and mobile devises.  Once you launch the app it will take a bit longer to load and the channels will appear but no programing information if you choose a channel to watch it will give you a message saying that you are not on the home network.  I have tried to remove and reload the app, and I have the same problem.  I contacted Cox Service they told us that our main receiver was not working they came out to replace the receiver and we are having the same problem.  The Tech that came to our house said he did not know anything about the App and that the field Tech do not get trained on the apps.  A bit frustrating to hear.  Please help!

    There are some things we can check to ensure that the app should be working properly. On your tablet, go to whatismyip.com and provide us with that IP address. Please email us that information at cox.help@cox.com, include the username that you login to the app with, name and address listed on the account also.
