Contact List in Enhanced e-mail

When I create a contact list in enhanced e-mail, and send the e-mail to all on the list, does everyone receiving the e-mail see who else it was sent to?

  • Dictionary, you are correct to send emails to multiple people without them seeing others email addresses you would need to use the BCC field (Blind Carbon Copy). If you use To or the normal CC field each person listed in those fields would be displayed to anyone the email was sent to. ---

Not sure, easy way to test, just create one with a couple of emails and send a test message, including yourself.  If it shows everyone, then yes.  I would guess yes it will show everyone, because the distribution list in this type of email system is a placeholder that inserts the other email addresses.  It's not like exchange where a group email address exists.

I have been told the e-mail addresses of the contacts should be listed on the BCC copy line.......that way all the names do not show up in the sent e-mail.

Thanks, figured it out, have to first add all e-mails to my list, then create a Contact Group and add each name individually to the Contact Group, a long process....................
