Hello,
Is this happening with all devices in the home or just one?
Thanks,

All phones/computers.
They are all WiFi linked via Apple Airport.
I haven't tried digging out an old modem/router out of storage yet, I wanted to see if this has been a common problem in my area before I went digging through the garage, - AllanModerator
@totesdfk,
Are you able to bypass the router temporarily and try plugging directly up to the modem?
Thanks,

Yes, I've done all that.
It's a very off and on problem, but it does occur when directly plugged too.
There were zero disconnects or spikes throughout the day yesterday, but they are back today.

Hi Totesdfk,
We'd like to take a look at your modem further. Please send us an email at cox.help@cox.com with your full name and street address. Thanks.

Here in SE KS we started having the same issue starting early last week but it got really bad starting Sunday. I went out and disconnected all of our cables outside the house that we aren't using, that being all our old cable TV connections that we no longer use leaving only the single internet cable and still having the same constant dropped packets. Contacted Cox and they are sending a tech out tomorrow afternoon, hopefully they find something as this is driving me nuts. We had the exact same issue exactly 1 year ago and it took 7 tech visits to get it resolved. Lets hope this isn't a repeat of last year in that respect.
