CONNECTION NOT WORKING CORRECTLY

my tv connected to my mini box keeps freezing up and now my dvr is rebooting on it's own . Tried all trouble shooting solutions , and none have worked . just had it hooked up yesturday . I need a tech at my house that knows what he's doing . HELP !
