CISCO PVR recording and playback issues
Changed to Contour PVR last summer. Went through three before one worked properly. Several months ago started having recording and playback issues. When I went to list and tried to view a recorded program I would get a message saying to try again later. However the program would never play. Then I started having problems with fast forwarding recorded programs. It would either jump ahead and not show the video fast forwarding or not fast forward at all. Called COX and they said it was out of warranty. They rebooted it but still have problems. I have tried turning the power off and on but it does not correct the problem. I have a two year price lock agreement and I need a new PVR.
