Channel Guide is Gibberish

Tonight my channel guide became unreadable and gibberish.  Most words look like they are in a different language - only a few words are readable.  This wasn't like this before.

Anyone know how to fix?

    Please unplug the power to the receiver, wait 2 minutes, and then plug it back in. It can take up to 20 minutes after your picture returns for all all functions to return completely. Please let us know if this resolves the issue or if the issue continues.

    Thank you - I did what you recommended and that fixed the problem for now.  I hope that doesn't happen again because I had my default channel guide set to favorites, and after resetting the receiver my favorites have been erased so I need to reset them.

    I've only had Contour TV for about a week - if this happens often I'll be frustrated with Cox and consider another carrier when I move.
