changing my assigned IP address

Hi, 

I have noticed that my IP address has now changed to an IPV6 addess and I am having trouble accessing my blog website hosted by a south African provider that does not support IPV6 connections. Is there a way that I can assign my public IP to an IPv4 address?

Please help!!!

    Cox runs dual stack, you should have both an IPv4 and an IPv6 address.  To disable IPv6 addressing, you need to disable it on your router/gateway.
