Can't receive e-mail - send OK

I know this sounds stupid but I can send e-mail and it seems to go out fine. I confirm over the phone. I can send myself an e-mail and I get that. But I'm not receiving any from anyone else. I don't get it. Am I missing some setting? This just started today. Never had this happen before. I did a chat with COX tech support and all he did was write a ticket on it and the tech dept. will get to it in up to 3 days. Are you kidding me!!! Anyone out there have a solution for this?

    I am sorry to hear you are having problems with your email.  I'd be glad to check your ticket for any updates.  Do you happen to have the ticket number?  If not please send us an email to cox.help@cox.com with your account details so we can help.

    I'm having the same issue, only I'm not able to send anything either. At first I thought it was a hack job since I got an invalid username/password message. Spend late afternoon talking to a rep to get a new password and get the account back online (no problems there) but now I'm getting a internal service error message. the rep did submit a ticket to Tech on my behalf; wanting for a response.

    EDIT: Nevermind, Email seems to be working fine now; a tech must've fixed a glitch or something.
