cannot receive email, can send and webmail works fine sending and receiving

window live mail, window 7

had to change my password recently-couple of weeks  still i can send and email but cannot receive email.

An incorrect password was entered. The next time you send or receive messages, you'll be asked to enter your user name and password for this account.

i have 3 other email accounts from cox.net on this computer that all work fine

webmail works fine as stated for account in question

also i try to add this email account to my android and use auto setup it says authentication failed, tried ti use manual and still it will not work

so web works but any device does not.

i have check my names, email address and passwords all the same.

  • That error code refers to either an invalid username or password typically. If you check your username inside of the live mail program does it have the the @cox.net listed next to it?
