Having the same problem. BASIC and ADVANCED Tech Support were no help at all. I saw a home technician open the log on one of his visits. Soooo it can be done. But I have no idea what buttons he pushed to open the logs.
To access the TV Caller ID menu on the Contour Guide, press the MENU button on your remote control to access the Main Menu. Use the up or down arrows to highlight "Interactive Services," and then press SELECT. Then, highlight "Phone Tools" and press SELECT. Highlight and SELECT "TV Caller ID", and then "Call Logs." Navigate the Call History List using Page + and Page - buttons on your remote.
To access the TV Caller ID menu on the Contour 2 Guide, you must first make sure that your Contour 2 Notification preferences are turned on. Press the CONTOUR button on your Cox remote to access the Main Menu. Use the up or down arrows to highlight the gear icon and press OK. Highlight Preferences and press OK. Highlight Notifications and press OK. Finally, highlight Contour Voice, and then press OK to turn On or Off. Once Notifications are active, you can view the TV Caller ID call history. While watching live TV, press the left arrow to access the Control Panel. Press the left arrow again to view notifications and calls available since the last time the receiver was rebooted.
