"Sounds" like a issue with HDMI. Do you have a option on your TV for HDMI sync? Could also be a issue between PCM and Dolby.
What model TV and cable box do you have?
Do you have any kind of sound system or surround sound?

Same issue here. I'm finding it only on TBS. Have an HDMI connection but other HD channels don't have a problem. Also, the local commercials are synced, not the national commercials or the programming.

Could you both post what state or better yet what town you are in? If its more then one person in a area, could be a broadcaster issue but that wouldn't usually effect multiple channel.
Also, what kind of boxes do you have? Could have also been a update sent to the box. Have you tried disco/reco of the power to reboot the box?
Last, is the audio before or after the picture?
- DustinPModeratorHi lrglewis and davemsteel,
Is this audio video sync repeated on other TVs in the home?
lrglewis, have you found this on particular HD channels?
davemsteel, you've found this on TBS HD for how long?

Problem is on all tv sets. Both sets are Samsung. I did do the easy stuff, rebooted boxes. The problem is with only one HD station,
WGN. The Cox tech help chat proved uneventful. I am using HDMI from the HD receiver but all other stations, Std and HD, do not have this problem. I am in Baton Rouge, LA. I will look to see if the TV settings has a sync HDMI. I think the problem is originating with the network source and Cox doesn't know how the fix it. I will try a few things to see if this helps, if it does I will report back to the forum.
- DustinPModeratorHi lrglewis,
