Arris SBG6700AC not reaching speeds

Hi, I just upgraded from the Premier service to Ultimate and my speeds seem to be maxing out at around 130 mbps. Ultimate is supposed to be getting 300 mbps. i have tried different settings on my router and even moved location closer to the incoming line to the house, but i seem to be maxed out. Is there anything else i should try or do i need to upgrade my router?
