Another day, another outage!

This business of constant outages is completely ridiculous. No internet, no phone on Saturday evening. No internet or phone again Sunday evening. Seemed to be fine Monday. This morning, another outage since 5:30 am, which was supposed to be fixed at 11:00, now saying 4:00 p.m. I don't know who is running the show at Cox but somebody needs to take charge of this situation and get it fixed. Your customers should not have to put up with this constantly. I'm paying for premium internet and my speeds even on a good day are extremely slow. I have spent the last 30+ years with Cox service but as of now, I'm soon to be a FORMER customer. By the way, I'm in Rhode Island, if anybody cares.

I didn't experience an outage but service was very slow Saturday night and Sunday.  2 minutes for a website to load (including Cox website).  I'm in Phoenix.  seems to be working now.

I'm experiencing the same thing.  And when I call in, they hang up on me...

Cox must be doing something - upgrading, changing, being hacked... I am in AZ. Two days ago we had an outage and since then the issue with the pop.cox.net server is back again!   It happens every 6 months or so for a period of time and then it fixes itself.  Coincides with poor speed - cannot stream movies from Amazon or Netflix and have to reset the modem and router several times before the issue is resolved.  Next day same issue...

I find Cox customer service always faults Outlook, the router, the modem, anything but their service. Speed test shows real jitters when transmitting data.  Matters are difficult here as they seem to have a corner on the market.  No other provider has their speed. If they did I would switch immediately.
