I found, as previously assured by Cox On-line Support, that the Xfinity/Comcast XR11 Voice Activated Remotes worked flawlessly with my Cox Contour 2 system. They are readily available on Amazon and cost-effective alternative to purchasing additional remotes from Cox.
One of the perks of Cox using Comcast's X1 platform. Are they "exactly" the same though? Same IR codes for TVs? Does it have Comcast branding?
The Xfinity XR11 remote seams to have the same codes as the Cox XR11 remote. The only physical difference are the "Contour" button and the branding on the heal read "Xfinity". All the other buttons are labeled the same on both. All the buttons on both perform the same functions.

Just search "XR11 XFinity". Good prices are between $5.00 & $8.00. Cox Solutions store charge $24.95 each. I typically go with Amazon Prime sellers that are fulfilled by Amazon.
