Adding my Cox Email Account to Windows Live Mail, I Can Receive Mail But Cannot Send
I set up my Cox Mail account in Windows Live Mail, using the protocols specified in the Cox Mail set up instructions. I can receive mail, but my outgoing mail sits in the "Outgoing" box, and I get an error message. For the outgoing Email server, I'm using the following; Outgoing: smtp.cox.net; Port 465 with SSL enabled and authorization box checked,
Please move emails from the outbox to the drafts folder. Then try to send yourself an email and let us know what errors you receive.
I did that -- moved my outgoing messages to the draft box, and sent myself a test message -- it would not go; here is the error message I got:
