I have had the same problem. But I got a recent e-mail from cox letting me know that my e-mail service has been "upgraded" for a better experience. Thanks, but just leave me alone, OK?

    Hi Jacob,

Please move emails from the outbox to the drafts folder. Then try to send yourself an email and let us know what errors you receive.

Hi Tiffany, I did that -- moved my outgoing messages to the draft box, and sent myself a test message -- it would not go; here is the error message I got: An unknown error has occurred. Subject 'Test Live Mail Cox' Server Error: 554 Server Response: 554 fed1rmimpo209.cox.net cox connection refused from 124.106.128.94 Server: 'smtp.cox.net' Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC6F Protocol: SMTP Port: 465 Secure(SSL): Yes
