ABC Freeform pixelating Contour Cox

Most of my television channels work well, but ABC's Freeform pixelates every minute or so, often distorting the sound as well. I've reset my cable box, unplugged it, checked connections. I don't know what else to do. Watching Freeform is almost impossible. Help, please.

    Did this issue just start today?

    No.  We switched from Directv to Cox the end of March.  The problem was there from the first time we watched Freeform about a month ago.
