4K HDTV programming

I am considering buying a new TV with 4K HDTV capability.  I am trying to find out if anyone knows if Cox has plans to broadcast in 4K in the future and and what format they are currently broadcasing.  I don't want to waste my money if 4K programs will not be available and supported by Cox.

    At this time no broadcasters are transmitting content in 4K, the current limit is 1080i. Blu-ray and some online streaming providers are doing to be the only suppliers of 4K content.
