300 mb/sec speed...a lie?....maybe.

I have (and pay for) the 300 mbps connections speed. Yet I have yet to see anything over 60 mbps. I use speakeasy to check my speeds to LA California (the closest node). I have the newest modem and router setup to handle the speed issue,,,,so why am I not getting what I pay for? I work in cybersecurity, so please don't be condescending with your answer, I understand the interwebz.

    We can look into this issue for you. Please do a speed test at our website www.cox.com and let us know the results. Also, are these speeds happening with all devices in the home or just one?
