slow upload speeds
i currently have the premier plus internet tier. but today, im almost unable to work from home due to poor internet speeds. my download speeds are ranging from 8Mbps to the normal +60Mbps down. but my upload speeds are barely over 1Mbps. they're typically 20Mbps. this is making it near impossible to upload files for work or access my remote computers. the rep via cox.net chat simply rebooted my modem (ive also rebooted my router and tried plugging my pc into my modem directly to no avail), claiming signal strength was off, but, as seen in the attached image, the strength appears fine.
are there any issues upstream that could be causing this? they're sending a tech out tomorrow but that doesn't help me with working today.

Signal levels look good. Upstream is a little low, but I doubt that would cause a problem with throughput. Are you using a VPN or some kind of tunnel to connect to work? Like some program you have to start and put in a password?
Also, what are you using to test your speed? Could you post the actual results? Curious if the latency is solid.

no vpn. i was using speedtest.net. latency was anywhere between 9ms and 16ms to the closest servers to me. today speeds are better (download speeds in the 50-70Mbps range, uploads in the 3-10Mbps range. still not what they *Should* be, but at least i can work today.
looking through the forums i see a bunch of other people having horrid upload speeds as well as of late.

I see we turned this over to maintenance to correct the low levels at the tap and further investigate the issue you are having with slow speeds. Once the ticket has been completed you should be contacted to verify service is working properly. Typically maintenance work is completed within 7 - 10 business days, but I've seen it happen within one to two days of the ticket being submitted. If you haven't heard anything within the next week check back with us here and we will verify the status of the work for you.
Thanks for your patience while we work to resolve your upload issues.
