It's just so frustrating that Cox continues to send regular emails from my actual friends to my spam folder. When my neighbor sees me in my yard he asks did I read his email. Then I know to look in my spam folder and there it is with others. COX FIX SPAM SETTINGS! I HAVE COMPLAINED ABOUT SEVERAL THINGS IN THE "NEW IMPROVED" COX EMAIL. SOME HAVE BEEN FIXED AT LEAST FOR NOW. BUT THE SPAM SETTINGS ARE NOT FIXED. COX CONTINUOUSLY SENDS MY PERSONAL EMAILS TO SPAM AND SPAM TO MY INBOX. SOME ARE EVEN LABELED SPAM THAT GOES IN INBOX. NOW TODAY I SEE 2 EMAILS IN MY INBOX CLAIMING TO BE FROM COX WITH SUBJECT-IMPORTANT MESSAGE PLEASE READ. I CLICKED ON ONE AND IMMEDIATELY A WARNING POPS UP SAYING DECEPTIVE SITE AHEAD- ATTACKERS ON GPF.QUANTUM-CODERS.COM MAY TRICK YOU INTO DOING SOMETHING DANGEROUS..... I GOT 2 OF THESE EMAILS FROM DIFFERENT ADDRESSES BOTH IN MY INBOX. BOY, COX IS REALLY ON THE BALL WITH IT'S SECURITY- SENDING THESE EMAILS TO MY INBOX FOR ME TO OPEN. I AM GETTING FED UP GOING TO MY SPAM FOLDER AND FINDING IMPORTANT "NOT SPAM" EMAILS! I HAVE SPAM SETTINGS AT NO SPAM FILTERING. I WANT ALL EMAILS SENT TO MY INBOX. ON THE LAST EMAIL VERSION I DELETED THE SPAM FOLDER AND ALL EMAILS CAME TO MY INBOX. THAT'S WHAT I WANT NOW BUT CAN'T DO. WHY CAN'T COX BE BETTER? ALSO CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO INSERT PHOTOS ON POSTS HERE IN THE FORUM? THANKS Re: Cox Webmail marks non-SPAM emails as SPAM I have clicked the "thumb up" on spam emails but if the person replies back it still goes to spam so I give up on that. The lines thru the links just started I guess in last 2 weeks. None of the spam emails had them before. I also click on the button Show Images (I think that's what it says). Lines are still there. If they send the email to spam then let me decide if I want to click the links. I just don't understand why all this is happening. A well known and I assume knowledgeable company like Cox shouldn't have these problems. I have yahoo emails too and don't have any of these problems there. Re: Cox Webmail marks non-SPAM emails as SPAM They sent an email from a local funeral home to my spam folder. The email was a reminder of someone's first anniversary of their death date. I couldn't even click the links to see the notice on the site because now all my "spam" emails are encrypted with lines thru links. I can't click on anything. I have settings on No Spam Filtering which "should" send all emails to my inbox but it doesn't. True- no rhyme or reason. Re: Can't Delete Trash Emptying the trash folder has been working correctly by just clicking once. Hopefully this one glitch is fixed but there are more. As I said in my original post I DO have spam settings turned off but still getting emails- personal and spam- sent there. Re: Cox Webmail marks non-SPAM emails as SPAM I read my webmail on a desktop computer. I am not going to continuously send emails for review. I just wish I could completely delete the spam folder because the setting No Spam Filtering isn't working. I made another new post yesterday complaining now all my spam email is encrypted. Lines thru all links- site urls, email addresses, etc. Those emails are useless to me and some are from companies I pay my bills to. This really is frustrating. COX please fix the spam folder problems! Cox keeps sending personal NON spam emails to my spam folder. There is absolutely no logical reason for this.I keep clicking Not Spam but if the person replies again it's back in spam. Now my spam emails are encrypted by Cox. I can't click on any links. Some of these emails are from companies I have accounts with that I pay bills on. Cox sent an email from a funeral home to my spam. The email was to remind me of the anniversary of the death of a person I knew and I can't even click the links to read it. I want to eliminate the spam folder like I did in the previous email version. I have my settings set at No Spam Filtering. Doesn't that mean ALL email will go to my inbox? I've also got emails to my inbox that are marked Spam. Makes no sense. I wanted to put pic of an encrypted email but don't know how. I see the option above under Insert but don't understand how to post a pic from my computer photos. I do it all the time on other sites, etc. If there is something else I can do in settings or whatever please tell me. This has been going on for months! Re: Cox Webmail marks non-SPAM emails as SPAM I've complained about this too. I have my spam settings set at NO SPAM FILTERING so all email should go to my inbox, correct? Well still personal or important NON SPAM emails go to my spam folder. In the last version of Cox emails I deleted the spam folder completely. ALL emails went to inbox. Evidently we can't do that now. I don't know why they don't get it right! Re: Can't Delete Trash I'm using webmail Re: Can't Delete Trash Sorry I didn't know there were replies to my question. I use either IE or Google and have problems on both. I tried to keep deleting trash but it doesn't completely empty. Ridiculous. I don't want to have to select (click) each email and then delete but I guess I will have to. That might not work either. I also want to get rid of the spam folder! Cox is sending personal emails there along with other emails that aren't spam. In the last version I deleted my spam folder because of the same thing. Cox is getting worse not better. And it seems it's simple fixes.
