I'm disabled and on a fixed income. I called and talked to nice young lady and after the usual 15 min on hold she said that she had lowered it to what it was before. I thought everything was good but it wasn't. She had only cut the increase by half.I called the cox number back and was told after they looked up my account that i was wrong and hung up. At this point it seems the they have cut all the fat and cant lower it but you sure can raise the rates FREE Epix preview I'm trying to view the preview but every epix channel says I need a subscription. I called your help line and after they rebooted the cable and internet twice with no success they said I need new equipment. You cant even get a free weekend july 25 - 28 right. Its just one step closer to after 27 years of cox cable cutting the cord. Re: Recording in the cloud vs DVR with hard drive just got home and for the first time since 3am I have full use of my DVR. I sure hope they have this fixed. This is the second time in a month and it's getting old! Re: Recording in the cloud vs DVR with hard drive Hi Becky, I'm having problems again! this time it gives me a message "network not responding" nothing on my dvr will load. it wont let me record any thing new. I called support this morning and she did't set an appointment just said she turned it in "someone will connect with me in the next 24 to 48 hours" this is not good Re: New boxes check the thread dvr hard drive vs the cloud. i hope it will explain it Re: Recording in the cloud vs DVR with hard drive So far yes. But it took about a week before the box they replaced went crazy. i'm hoping the new one is working better Re: Recording in the cloud vs DVR with hard drive Hi Becky, It drops the sound of the program for a couple of seconds up to 15 seconds. on tuesday I was Watching a program and about twenty minutes into a hour program it froze for about 10 seconds and stopped and a message on the screen said it was having problems and it would be on again the next day do you want to record it ( which I already have it set to record for its a daily show I record everyday) and the rest of the program I can't get to to watch. yesterday I was watching the San Diego Padres game on 14 which I record every game. I watched till the 4 th inning and went shopping, thinking I could watch it after I came back. I came back about an hour later and when I went into the dvr it said my NETWORK WAS NOT WORKING TRY BACK LATER. I was not able to watch the game. I'm a disabled person so I watch alot of TV. If I can't get it from cox I will be looking for a service that I can. Even if I have had cox for almost 27 years. And they had better not charge me with a service call today ether. Re: Recording in the cloud vs DVR with hard drive I'd also like to know if you got this resolved too. I'm also having the same problems and have the first service call tomorrow. if it's so messed up I want the dvr with a hard drive back. Re: New boxes they record not on the box but into "the cloud". I have them and my dvr is almost unwatchable. sound missing for 15 seconds and then they stop half way through the recording with the message "sorry having problems try again later". cox is coming tomorrow to replace the boxes! Re: Padre Baseball in Las Vegas the channel YurVeiw just posted on my face book feed that they will carry 154 games this year minus rainouts of course
