Confirmed by one phone csr and one chat csr, but after three hours, still no mention of the outage on the Cox Support, Outage link. Why isn’t that page accurate? Oh, after three hours, the third chat CSR said no one had reported an outage for this zip code. I know I did. Get it together please Cox. The outage is fine, they happen. But the incongruous responses and inaccurate online info are subpar. UPDATE: Tier Two solved the problem. As Always. Just ask for tier two Re: Cox On Demand down for Tivo users for months in Orange County, Ca. ColleenD said: tvmaster, The identified trouble was corrected after your original post. Please let me know if you are still seeing errors or any other trouble with your OnDemand access. Hello again. I have three Tivo's with cable cards and tuning adapters. After your 'fix', my TiVo Premiere began receiving Cox On Demand programs again. My TiVo Bolt was working before your fix My TiVo Roamio is still NOT FUNCTIONING with regards to Cox On Demand. However, ALL other apps function perfectly on that same machine: HBO Go, YouTube, Netflix, Plex, Amazon Prime - all working fine on the Roamio - on Cox On Demand's app is still getting a V202 error. What can we do next?Re: Cox On Demand down for Tivo users for months in Orange County, Ca. ColleenD said: tvmaster, We're aware of an issue in your area which affected On Demand for multiple customers yesterday. Service has since been restored. Are you still having trouble? When I posted this, service was still affected. Is your service update SINCE I posted this? thanksRe: Cox On Demand is down for all Tivo Users- same issue as in 2017, server issue againScotChez, it appears our problems are the only ones Cox admins don't have answers for...have you heard anything? The Olympics only last two weeks - and all that material is inaccessibleCox On Demand down for Tivo users for months in Orange County, Ca.I can confirm, after talking with Cox Tech Support at 1-877-820-8202 that Cox On Demand is not working on Tivo's in the Arizona, Orange County, Ca., and more areas across the country. Their attempt to reset the tuning adapter did absolutely nothing. here's the error: "Show Unavailable The show is not currently available (V202). Please Try again in a few minutes. If you continue to experience this problem, contact Cox Customer Support at 1-877-820-8202" According to cross-references at the tivocommunity.com forum and other places, including ALL our Tivo's, this has been going on for months now. That's really not very good, is it?Re: 2mbps upload speed? Thanks. I've had the Android app for days, and have changed to a more isolated channel. However, wireless speed seems very inconsistent, regardless of device or mhz. I'll keep checking here for others having troubles, and keep an eye on the wifi analyzer Re: Lost NBCSN Hi Stephanie. I'm not having any problems with my equipment. However, for some reason, Cox threw up a "this program has contractual problems" slate, 22 minutes into a 90 minute program, last Saturday between 3 and 4:30 pm on NBC SN. The slate noted that viewers look for the program on a "different channel". I couldn't find it (Indycar Qualifying) on a different channel. To me, it appears either a human or computer at Cox made an error. I'm just pointing it out so someone like yourself can investigate, substantiate and then discover why it happened in the first place. I worked in cable/broadcast master control areas for 15 years. Someone's set top box could not perform this event, only an employee. thanks Re: Lost NBCSN Dina said: John G, Was this happening on all the TV's in the home or just one in particular? Are you continuing to have issues with these channels? Did you attempt to reboot the box? We shouldn't have to reboot boxes. If we are out of the house and recording this show, then rebooting is not possible.Re: Lost NBCSNI was recording Indycar Qualifying Long Beach Grand Prix at 3pm Saturday afternoon. 22 minutes into the 90 minute broadcast, a Cox Cable Blackout screen message appeared, saying that this program was unavailable due to contractual obligations, please check another channel. What's going on, Cox?!? This program wasn't on any other channels, and since you decided to wait and bait us until 22 minutes in, it was obviously a computer gone insane. Don't you have ANY human beings working in Master Control to stop this from happening? I assume the NHL problem was similar - a Cox computer gone amok. This better not happen during the race today!!!!!!!Re: Atrociously slow internet speeds last night around 11:30pm PST, lost both Internet and Cox phone. Automated phone guy at 240-1212 said "outage in your area". went to bed, got up, and both Internet and phone were functional. however....upload speeds were normal at 9mb, but download speeds were horrible, and still are, decreasing from nearly 30mb to 3-5mb. Could barely open URLs with lots of activity. Cox says "all is well". I beg to differ. Have reset everything twice, am not close to being over my 250gb monthly limit, and did absolutely nothing to my internal setup, yet the slow download speeds remain. Could their outage have trashed my Linksys router somehow? PS - the Cox Speedtest page checks out near 30mb down, but Speakeasy and Speedtest are under 10mb down. Somethings fishy......
