An I did it again to get no results, the folks want to know if your wires are hooked up and reset your gateway regardless of the fact I am chatting with them. As what is listed at the intro to the forum: The Cox Support Forum is where customers can collaborate with each other to resolve issues they may be experiencing. Sorry bassplayer223 I'm sure you had the same result. Re: Internet drops intermittenly I'm Sorry DannyS but it seems to me we compare notes here trying to figure out what the problem may be. I have the same problem as bassplayer and finally have the time to pursue the issue to find an answer. For example my wifi drops intermittently no rhyme or reason and reboots also at the same time we can't control the contour box, I assume this should point to some issue. I recently installed a Panoramic Wifi to update my equipment but my older system didn't have the same issue. Is it just me or has Cox changed their spam filters in the last few months? I noticed several months ago that I have been getting more spam in my emails. Before it was one address now it two. Again I haven't change any of my settings so I don't want to hear it is something that I have done. They were working fine for a long time now they aren't. TX Re: New Webmail issuesHere is the latest from cox.mail: Error Message could not be sent to the following recipients: [spamreport@cox.net] (451 - 451 4.2.0 146.20.112.67 has exceeded the number of messages allowed per hour and has therefore been blocked for a period of three hours. This is what I get when using chrome and trying to put spam in the spam box.Re: New Webmail issuesI have had the same issue. I was using the Ipad, then google chrome, then msn. Of course the message said it is my computer and I have a virus and again wasted my time scanning to find nothing, not that I hurt to do it I suppose. At least the last few days the spam filter seems to be working the best it ever has I am afraid this is the trade off.Re: myemail.cox.net/appsuite - my webmail[Hi KDickson, it seems if you have studied this problem enough you will see Cox has a problem and have left us to work around it. I was told to us Chrome to download my mail since it doesn't work with Outlook, nice solution. Again it is the people who pay for a service that have the problem. Good luck.Re: Email does not download from the Cox web site.Double checked Java, most current version. No error messages. Still just getting 3 dots and the tab goes to Xcox.
