Asked them to come today at around 4pm. Said the dispatch team needs confirmation before coming and would call when they would be on their way. Still no sign of maintenance crew and its almost closing hours. At this point, im just going to cancel Cox and get a new ISP. No Sign of Maintenance Crew, Internet Out for Approx. 8 Days I just had a tech come out and check out why my internet was out for almost 8 days yesterday. He said the problem was that the line between the sidewalk and my house is no good and needs to be replaced. He said he sent in a work order so that the maintenance crew can come this morning. I didnt get his name, but I havent seen the maintenance crew come out yet. Has it been moved to another day or am I just not going to have internet forever? Re: Internet Out Its been about 4 days and I still have no wifi. I used the Cox Connect app to see if I could find an update anywhere but there wasnt. I cant do any work with it down and the only thing I can use is my phone’s hotspot. Ive yet to see the techs come back and am still wondering when its going to be fixed. Internet Out I just had a couple guys from COX come and check out the internet cables yesterday outside of my house and am not sure if they fixed the issue yet or they're coming back another day to fix them. I think they also disabled the lines before they left. As of right now, I have no access to the internet today and all day yesterday. Can I get an update of some sort on the status of when the internet will be coming up? Or when the repairs are done? Currently using a hot spot from my iPhone. Packet Loss, Random Disconnect Recently, Ive been having high outbound packet loss. Ive been checking through Discord because that's the only thing that I have that monitors it and it ranges from around 7% to 90% packet loss. It would continue for maybe about a minute or two and then become perfectly fine afterwards. This would happen at random intervals and maybe once per two hours everyday. It would also disconnect at random times of the day, and once it has rebooted and re-established its connection, it would repeat the process all over again. Ive checked in the modem event logs and have seen tons of "No Ranging Response Received - T3 Timeout" and "Unicast Ranging Received Abort Response - initializing MAC". All my other devices are affected by it as well and I had always thought the problem would be on my end. I directly connected with my modem and my router, but I don't receive internet that way either. I have also tried removing the coaxial cable and troubleshooting the router multiple times and the problem still remains. I have had COX for approximately 10 years or more and have experienced this issue 3-4 weeks ago. This has never happened throughout my years of being with COX and am wondering why its starting to happen now. Would it be a problem with my modem or router being faulty? Or is something else causing it?
