Should be offered packages and bundles like new customers. While the Service reps on the phone and chat were mostly nice and professional they were unable to resolve despite what I thought were valid efforts. They then escalated to the 'back office' and where the ticket was ignored and I could not get an update. Finally went to a Cox Communication store where they people there were fantastic and stayed with the issue until resolved. Highly recommend if possible going to the retail site and avoid the phone / chat for anything beyond very very basic. Re: How to watch from the begininng Will there be an answer to this question? I made the following comment on another thread that showed lost functional of recording after starting to watch a program. A feature that 'old outdated boxes had. I just received Contour 2 (upgrading from old boxes), I had no idea there was this limitation!! Going backwards is not an upgrade. The whole house dvr was a complete failure when we first tried the original contour. Glad to hear v2 is better Is Contour 2 worth the change? I tried the original Contour a couple of years ago and it was completely useless (in all honesty it stunk!). Never worked 100%. Had several service calls and could not be resolved. Went back to normal individual DVR Boxes and had to fight Cox to not charge me a service fee to remove equipment that never worked. Can see in the forum several other comments on not working properly. Interested to hear if newer version is working better
