I have tried repeatedly to get it removed, with no success. Who do I contact to accomplish this? So far after several phone attempts to remove it, I have not been successful. I don't care about the $4 but I really would like to call without punching *82 on calls, including calls to Cox 600-8282. Appreciate any help. Thanks. Phone Service Shut Off By Cox In Error My phone service (landline) was not working this morning, so I attempted to get it fixed thru Cox, but was unsuccessful and had to have a service call. The technician who came out was knowledgeable and helpful and got service restored. My problem is I need to know who I should contact about this at Cox so it doesn't happen again. Here is what happened. About a month ago, I noticed a message on my account online which indicated I needed to return equipment. I called Cox and after 4 transfers and 5 people and over an hour an one half on the phone, I finally was told it was my phone modem being referred to on the message, but it was a mistake by Cox and it would be corrected. Obviously, it wasn't corrected and the message is still on my online account today, and my phone service was coded by Cox today so it would not work. Who can I contact to keep this from happening again????? Thanks to a couple of Tech Reps who helped me today! Just a word of thanks to Robert and Mike who helped me install a new modem today. They both were very helpful and knowledgeable in getting my Internet connection back up and running this morning. After a week of problems with my TV having pixelation problems and not working on all channels, the Internet guys came thru and saved the day for both Cox and me. Kudos to Mike and Robert! How to make positive recommendation for Cox employee I was assisted last week with a problem regarding my phone voice mail by a Cox technician named Kelli. She was so helpful, knowledgeable, and personable in solving my problem. She made it seem almost a pleasure to have a problem. I would like to make sure her supervisors are aware that she is a real asset to the company. Is there a way for me to do this so that Kelli's good work doesn't go unnoticed? After messing with this several hours, I found that one of the remotes given to me today is defective. All boxes work with the other 2 remotes, but not with this one. Problem solved! Cox Cable Mini Box Remote Will Not Change Channels I have installed 3 Cox Mini Boxes - 2 are working fine, the other which is connected to an Element Model ELEFW195 is working except it will NOT change channels. The On/off, Volume, Mute all work and the picture is fine, but no channel change either by up/down or keyboard select. Anyone have any idea what might be causing this? I have a service call scheduled this week but if I can find a simple solution for this I would prefer to, Appreciate any input which might help.
