Re: Possible to downgrade box? yes but the picture is soft Possible to downgrade box? Currently I have a contour 2 box, upgraded from an SA8240HDC. Picture quality on the SA was pretty good, I can see the details clearly. On the contour 2 box (XG2) the picture seems very soft and in fast moving scenes, there'd be some pixelation but signal levels were good. So, is it possible to downgrade to the legacy box or contour 1 at least? I haven't had the first contour system but I wonder if picture quality is good. Re: comcast is a head of cox once again It's probably gonna be slow, just how netflix already is Youtube slow on ios devices with c6300 gateway. Already rebooted, changed the cox dns to opendns and it solved the issue temporarily. However, how can i turn off ipv6 because that is what causes the slowdowns. My iphone doesn't have an option to turn it off. Update: I've changed the dns to cloudfare dns but left the teritary dns to the cox provided one. Youtube takes 5-10 seconds to load but no buffering. Re: Contour 2 Power Preferences Well my box is just an HD box (XG2) and how can I downgrade without having to pay a 20 dollar fee for shipping or by going to the store as I am far Contour 2 Power Preferences Looking at the power preferences on my contour 2 box (HD, not dvr) it says I can instantly power down the box by pressing the all power button on my remote. When I tried it, it only powers down my tv and soundbar. Even unpairing the remote and putting it back in IR mode doesn't power down the box. What can I do to power down all my devices at once including the cable box as the old boxes used to power off was well. Also, is it possible to downgrade to contour 1 as the box also powers off with the tv?
