ContributionsMost RecentMost LikesSolutionsRe: SENT Emails Successfully Reaching bcc parties but NOT the intended "TO" recipient Still mystified as to why I've received no resolution or feedback from Cox's "Escalation" efforts to address the failure of my emails not reaching their intended recipients (yet they reach the IN box of others bcc'd on the same email). This post was initiated May 17 - and a similar but separate post on the same issue,April 5th - yet nothing in terms of help in any way. Amazingly disappointing Re: SENT Emails Successfully Reaching bcc parties but NOT the intended "TO" recipient Please provide theTicket # associated with this "investigation." Still no answers or fix has been provided. The problem with outgoing email as described above continues - but my patience does not. While this forum string was initiated 25 days ago - it plays upon my initial report of trouble of two months ago (see my post - now locked - "Trouble getting emails sent via Apple Mail AND via my email.cox.net"). After changing the port # from 465 to 587 two months ago - the issue still hasn't resolved itself. Re: SENT Emails Successfully Reaching bcc parties but NOT the intended "TO" recipient Ok - so how's the escalation effort progressing? Was initially told to give this 4-5 days working time - and we're now @ 2 weeks. Can't Cox provide any feedback on a fix at this point? Re: SENT Emails Successfully Reaching bcc parties but NOT the intended "TO" recipient Checking in after Cox's requested 4-5 day working time to see how things are progressing on a fix. Re: SENT Emails Successfully Reaching bcc parties but NOT the intended "TO" recipient Hi Becky - I just completed the requested email and sent it to the Cox.Help@cox.com address to include the captured information for two of the Comcast email recipients who're not getting my messages. I've included two email samples - using your direction - for each party. I look forward to hearing back from you - understanding it may take a few days. thank you. Re: SENT Emails Successfully Reaching bcc parties but NOT the intended "TO" recipient Becky - This evening I will go through your instructions above and send you the necessary information on the Comcast email addresses I cannot connect to. Thank you for confirming that you, too, have replicated the same difficulties that I (and many others) have experienced. Question: The Cox.Help@cox.com seems like a very general email addresses - how does it get to you directly?? Again - thanks for working with me in hopes of finding a solution to this problem. Re: SENT Emails Successfully Reaching bcc parties but NOT the intended "TO" recipient Hello - hello there Cox moderator support folks - I provided my reply - please respond in kind. Re: URGENT: Still having email issues? Post your email status here! Refer Cox Support to this thread. Hi Kevin - I do not receive any notice or message - never have. That's the biggest issue. There's been no way to know that emails are not going through as they appear (as they always have) in my "Sent" folder. I only know that in the past few months two of my frequent contacts (Comcast users) now no longer receive my emails (based ontheir lack of response and my calling/texting them to repeatedly ask, "Did you get my email???" To which the answer is always, "No."Other contacts do receive my emails with no troubles. Then there are those emails recently sent - to which there are no replies (and no other way to contact the recipient) - - so I can only assume they were 1) received but ignored OR 2) never received like the Comcast accounts holders. Also - please see my other post related to this: forums.cox.com/.../sent-emails-successfully-reaching-bcc-parties-but-not-the-intended-to-recipient Re: SENT Emails Successfully Reaching bcc parties but NOT the intended "TO" recipient Hi Becky - Under "Edit Rule" the block for "Rule Name" is blank. There are, however, two separate entries under Conditions / Header / Contains. Both entries under "Contains" have no relationship to the contacts who arenot receiving myemails. Thank you. Re: SENT Emails Successfully Reaching bcc parties but NOT the intended "TO" recipient Becky - I use an iMac - the only computer in the house - to email. I do not email via iPhone or iPad, etc - just the iMac. We are thesimplest and basic of set-ups - no hubs, routers, wireless, etc. 1) I've only been able to ascertain there's a linkwith unreceived emails to Comcast users. However, I have sent other emails to people to which I've never received a reply.Since these folks are not my usual contacts - 'tis hard to know for sure if they neverreceive my messages (thus, falling in the Comcast camp of recipients) OR they got my email and simply failed to provide a courtesy reply. 2) there are no website urls in the body of my emails andI do not use a signature with emails. 3) Yes - recipients have been looooong time contacts and are in my contact list. 4) clicked on the Webmail Settings per your direction and observed two grey shaded lines (tried to insert a screen shot - but wasn't able to) under the Heading Mail Filter Rules. The first grey-shaded area reads: = Blocklist The second grey-shaded area below that reads: = Edit Disable .... Trash Hope that's clear enough to answer your query as to whether any of my Filter Rules impact outgoing/sent email. Thanks for following-up on my post. I'll check back in later to see where this feedback leads.
