Would appreciate something other than a stock, first line answer. New Remote does not work Old remote stopped working. Got a new remote. It isn't working either. It powers the cable box on and off, but that's it. Cox Support said I had to program it and stepped me through several codes but it still doesn't work. I don't know why I would have to program a Cox remote for a Cox cable box. I'm not trying to program the TV. Anyway it's a Cisco cable box and the remote number on the back is URC-8820-MOTO. Re: Email stopped working on iPhone after upgrade to ios9 YES Email stopped working on iPhone after upgrade to ios9 The day after I updated my iphone6 to ios9 one of my Cox email accounts no longer works. My Primary account works just fine but my secondary does not. I haved tried deleting the acct and then re-adding it, but it keeps saying my id or password are incorrect. Obviously they are not as I am logged on here as the failing id and password. What is going on? Re: How to stop cable box from shutting off by itselfThat did it. Great job. Thanks. How to stop cable box from shutting off by itselfi've seen this question posted by other users here but none of them have gotten an answer. After a while a warning comes on asking if we are still watching and if you don't respond by hitting Select the cable box shuts off.. What is causing this and how do I stop it from happening? It happens on all channels at all times, not just on channel 3 or four. I have already checked the sleep timers and all other timers and no timers are set on. Please look into this and tell me how to correct this.SolvedRe: Email no longer works on iOs devices using any email client!...and I said all the OBVIOUS solutions have ALREADY been tried. In other words, the resetting and/or changing passwords has already been tried a MONTH ago! Do you need that explained any further? Please add your supervisor to this thread(request #1).Re: Email no longer works on iOs devices using any email client!Ohhhh....Myyyyy.....God! Did you not read the email? Did I not sat say the email via web mail works? And thus it is not a password problem?! What part of do not reply with obvious problem fixes and ESCALATE the problem do you not understand?! THIS IS A PROBLEM ON YOUR END!!!Email no longer works on iOs devices using any email client! This is stupendously bad. As others on hear have said, something happened to my(our) existing Cox email accounts around mid-February. Since then they do not work anywhere other than on coc web mail. Before you moderators start giving the usual suggestions, know this. I have been an IT professional for 30 years. I know my way around networks and how to set them up. I know the proper smtp, pop, mime, etc. settings. I know my email works on web mail. I have tried using a number of different email client on both Apple devices and Windows devices and they ALL do NOT work. They all throw the message invalid username or password. This is NOT a helpdesk problem. Please escalate this to the Developers or Server administrators. Something has changed on COX's end, not the users! I am tired of getting responses to check the obvious things. There is a problem with YOUR servers of some change introduced YOUR software. Admit it and fix it. Otherwise I urge all of us having problems to cancel Cox email(it'll save you ten dollars a month) and go to GMail. Enough!
