Re: I am getting tons of packet loss while playing Fortnite, lags out many times per round. There are so many of us with this issue. What can we do? Re: Severe packet loss (Upload) to amazon web services (Fortnite) - UPDATE 1/9 All hardware between the street and my computer has been replaced and this issue persists. It's affecting so many people by the looks of this thread. The link to the /r/FortniteCompetitive thread shows that even Epic knows it is an issue specifically with Cox. How can nothing be done about this based on the age of just this thread alone? It's months old and has almost 20k views at this point. Please do something. This could be coming to the point of being a viable lawsuit frankly, I don't know. Re: (GAMING) We need a plan of action — Upstream Packet Loss (COX Com ISP) I have this exact problem. Gaming is my favorite hobby. Everything Michael has said is true for me. I play Fortnite too, along with other games, and there are so many instances where things I do don't register on the server. It puts us all at a disadvantage when playing competitively. I'd like to do whatever I can to help get Cox to do something because the upload packet loss is seriously making me a miserable person. Re: Las Vegas Packet Loss There are plenty of attorneys in town who do class action work and are hungry. If there are enough people with this same issue, which I imagine there are several, then that is a legitimate option and I'd like to be involved. Meantime, we should make FCC complaints? Re: Las Vegas - Severe Upload Packet Loss I'm in Las Vegas with the same issue. Techs came and replaced the drop from the street to my house, and also the one from the side of my house to my modem. When I run PingPlotter, the packet loss starts immediately as the packets get to the Cox network. I think we need to make an FCC complaint to move this to the appropriate people. If we all make complaints somethingmight happen, because otherwise it seems like they don't care to look into it deeper. Las Vegas Packet Loss Hi, I've had moderate to severe packet loss since last Monday. Cox came out last Friday and said it was the lines from the street to my house. Today a subcontractor came and replaced the line from the street to my house, as well as the line from the side of my house to my modem. Unfortunately I have the same issues with packet loss. The packet loss is consistent. When I run PingPlotter for example, no matter what IP I use there is packet loss as soon as the signal gets off my network onto Cox's. Please fix this. Thank you.
