Speed has been between 25 and 32 mb/s and I have not had to reset anything yet, also no wireless drops and I get a stronger signal. Crossing my fingers but looks like it was just the CG3000D I bought from Cox, lesson learned on that. Re: Netgear CG3000D-RG Constantly drops wireless connection, internet does not work I now have to turn it off and on 5 times a day, 7am, 12pm, 3pm, 7pm and 10pm is usally what happens. You can see where it is real slow and then I reset the sorry excuse for a modem and how it is fast again for a little while. But soon after I reset it, it already starts to slow down again. If nothing gets better by the end of month, just going to drop service and go over to Century Link. I changed my channel selection from Auto to Channel 1 b/c I had 5 overlapping networks. On channel 1 I only have 1 overlapping network, all the other channels are worse. I am on 802.11 n at 2.4ghz and it says my current signal is -31 dBm. I know after I reset the modem my link score is in the high 80s and right before the wireless signal goes out my link score is in the low 50s. I think this Netgear modem just **, that is the problem. Re: Netgear CG3000D-RG Constantly drops wireless connection, internet does not work Edward, The wifi light on the modem starts blinking and then disappears and on my wireless devices I am booted out of the network. Then, sometimes it will connect back to the network and not have internet access, other times it will not be able to connect back to the network at all. The only fix is to turn it off and then back on, I doing it 4 to 5 times a day now. Re: Netgear CG3000D-RG Constantly drops wireless connection, internet does not work At least I am not alone then, too bad it ** for all of us. Have you found any type of fix yet? Re: Netgear CG3000D-RG Constantly drops wireless connection, internet does not work So after I got home from work, had to reboot modem to get the internet to work again. Then at around 9:30pm I got booted from my wireless network and when I reconnected my internet speed was less that 1mb according to speed test so I had to turn it off and back on again to get back up to 20mbs. CenturyLink starting to look better and better every day. Netgear CG3000D-RG Constantly drops wireless connection, internet does not work I have to reset it when I wake up in the morning and then I reset it again when I get home from work. The wireless signal will go off and on by itself and the LAN connected laptop loses its internet connection. If I do not restart the modem at least 2 times a day it does not work. I can sit here and watch the wireless signal light disappear and then reappear 5 to 10 seconds later. Anyone have ideas on how to have the internet consistently work?
