ContributionsMost RecentMost LikesSolutionsRe: Severe packet loss (Upload) to amazon web services (Fortnite) - UPDATE 1/9 I used to have the consistent packet loss issues on Fortnite and I just changed all the coax splitters and I have 0% packet loss both up and down. The only thing is that I sometimes will get ping spikes that last like 30 seconds and it reaches 1,100 ping Slow Internet I am using an Arris DG2460 router and I am getting .94 Mbps download and have been getting those kinds of speeds for the past few months and I thought it was just because I'd use my computer during peak hours but I noticed that it happens constantly. I remember getting at least a constant 10 Mbps with 0% packet loss and now I am seeing very low speeds. I just replaced a coax splitter with a2300MHz coax splitter from Amazon to see if my old splitter was causing connection issues and nothing changed really. Re: Packet Loss: Gaming and Cloud connections try using the VPN called Speedify. It helps with packet loss but it gives you higher ping Re: HIGH PING SPIKES AND PACKET LOSS what you can try is opening up speedify but make sure that it's off and just close it and it will start running in the background and im not sure why but that lowers packet loss while keeping your ping low most times Re: HIGH PING SPIKES AND PACKET LOSS I know it's not gonna fix it but I'm hoping that the new coax splitter will minimize some of the issues. I've been following this issue for quite a while now and i've seen your videos and commented about how I used speedify to minimize the packet loss and as of now my internet speeds are absolutely garbage to even use speedify. I'm getting from 0.3-3 mbps download and 1 mbps upload Re: HIGH PING SPIKES AND PACKET LOSS Yes I am using a splitter on the coax and I just ordered a new one which is coming tomorrow, hopefully this fixes the ping issue because I know the Fortnite packet loss is never going away ;) HIGH PING SPIKES AND PACKET LOSS I am using a ARRIS DG2460 router and always get packet loss for both up and down ranging from 4-60% packet loss playing Fortnite. I also get ping spikes that last for minutes and they reach up to 1,100 ms. Re: Severe packet loss (Upload) to amazon web services (Fortnite) - UPDATE 1/9 I forgot what forum it was from but there's a theory that Cox isn't doing much or anything at all to cash out on all the people calling in and having techs "resolve" the issues and that person also mentioned that it could be a part of the effects of the net neutrality repeal.
