ContributionsMost RecentMost LikesSolutionsRe: Internet Connectivity Issues (High Uncorrectables One Channel) I had the same problem. I even replaced some of the cables and the modem. I lastly checked where the cable connects from the outside of the home. Since it was outside it had been exposed to the elements for 15 years. I replaced the connector and it magically works amazing. This coax connector had been slowing our internet for years, until it just failed. Now it is better than ever, and doesn't reset. Thank goodness! Re: Cannot Send with Thunderbird I had the exact same thing. Try SMTP port 25. I also changed my password last night, but that did nt solve the problem. Re: Cannot Send with Thunderbird I messaged you support and all they told me was that it was the fault of Microsoft. Pathetic response. After working 24 hours on a solution I changed my SMTP port to 25. Problem solved. The instructions on your website do not work correctly for everyone. If they are having problems with your settings, have then use SMTP port 25, or just press the default button under properties/advanced/Server Port Numbers Re: Outgoing Email Problems They told me to contact Microsoft. Good luck with that. With Windows Live Mail you need to use the default outbound port of 25 SMTP Cox gives the wrong port on it's instructions. Even their help line gets the port wrong and tries to make you use 465 Re: Outgoing Email Problems With Windows Live Mail you need to use the default outbound port of 25 SMTP Cox gives the wrong port on it's instructions.
