Cox Connect phone tools
(I also posted this in the phone tools section) I used the Cox Connect app for checking my call history. Even though the time stamps were off (I don't know which time zone they use), I could at least see the history. Today, when I tried to use the Phone Tools app to check call history or change my phone settings (e.g., call forwarding), it sent me to a web page where it asked me to log in. If I have to go to a web page, I might as well do it directly. So I deleted the app as phone tools were the only use I had for it. Oh, and I did log in to the web page the app sent me to . It had my incorrect ZIP Code, and said "we do not offer service in your zip code [sic]. So the app is worse than useless if all it's going to do is send me to a wrong link. Since customers can no longer send emails or fill out forms to provide feedback, I called Cox. The rep said he is no longer able to send feedback to Cox either. Why did Cox remove the ability for residential customers to send an email to Cox? That's my preferred method of communication, and you now only have real-time options: chat (useless) or phone (where you wait on hold 10 minutes to talk to level 1 who don't know anything so make you wait 10 more minutes on hold to talk to level 2)?1.6KViews0likes3CommentsRe: cannot get into my webmail
If you are using Firefox, I am having the same issue. You must use Internet Explorer. I was also able to get on using Atomic Web browser on my iPad. The new Webmail is an unmitigated disaster. Besides the Firefox issue, they have moved phone tools and view my bill, and worst of all in order to actually R E A D an email, you must use only 1/3 of your screen because the rest is taken up with a folder view and a message view. No way I can see to adjust this. I simply will not use Webmail any more.0Views0likes0Comments
